How weighted GPA inputs work
Understand grade-points times credits and institution-specific course inclusion.
Multiply before adding
Multiply each course grade point by its credits, add the products, then divide by total included credits. A plain average is wrong when credits differ.
Exclude courses under institution rules
Pass/fail, repeats, withdrawals and non-GPA courses depend on the institution. The tool does not decide those rules.
Check rounding
The calculation retains precision before display, but a transcript may apply a specific rounding rule. Compare it with the institution policy.
