Reduce unnecessary information before layout work
Canvas re-encoding can remove non-pixel metadata, but anything visible in the pixels remains. Crop or redact sensitive visible content with an appropriate method before sharing.
Adjust images before assembling the document
Crop, resize and compress before merging to avoid repeated work. Inspect transparency, color and legibility because format conversion can change the result.
Verify final PDF pages and text
Merge or split only the pages needed and reopen the download. Text extraction reads a text layer, not OCR, and complex or protected files may be unsupported.
